SCOTTIE:

Francis Kovago, world renowned porcelain artist, was inspired to create this porcelain rendition of a Jerri doll in the soft gentle medium of water color.   Mr. Kovago has done commission work for the White House and many of the fine china companies in the United States and abroad.

In his tribute to the sculpturing talents of Jerri, Mr. Kovago has captured the lifelike detail for which Jerri is so well known.

Voted best "Manufacturers Doll Artist Doll" in 1985, "Scottie" quickly sold out his 1985 limited edition of 1,000.  Dressed in his "jammies" still wearing a baseball cap and glove, we know he'll toddle off to bed and dream of becoming a famous baseball star wile cheers from the crowd urge him and his teddy bear teammate to victory.

EMILY

Created by the same Francis Kovago as above, we share this delightful watercolor rendition  of the most beloved doll of all times, "Emily".  This young lady captured the hearts of Jerri collectors and quickly sold out her 1984 limited edition of 1,000.  Everyone was enamored of the nostalgic toddler, fresh from her bath with her hair piled high, dressed in a pink "nightie" and clutching teddy and her warm blanket for security.

CLARA AND THE TOY SOLDIER

With this first edition Christmas plate, we lovingly share the commemoration of "Clara" our first "sold out" doll produced in 1980.   Clara, with charming nutcracker dangling from her wrist, danced and pirouetted into the hearts of 1,000 happy owners, while the toy soldier looked on admiringly.
